• As our Fresh Fish lands daily, therefore the variety/supply of fish we have varies from day to day.
  • Fresh Fish Supply is also weather dependent. Please keep in mind that you are ordering fresh fish which cannot be stored in a warehouse for months. We can only dispatch what has been caught by our hard-working fishmen in that given week. Keep in mind we can only send out what swims in, which is always Fresh fish/seafood direct from tide to table. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. Although we will try our very best.
  • Once we can fulfil your order, we will dispatch it immediately meaning you could get it the next day, please specify in the notes section if you do not want your order to be delivered until a later.


  • Dispatch days are every Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays except for Irish bank holidays. Our courier services does not operate on Saturdays, Sundays and national/local holidays.
  • You will receive an email to let you know when your order has been dispatched, and DPD will deliver the following day. Please specify in the notes section if you do not want your order to be delivered until a later date.
  • Our courier will notify you on delivery day of your expected delivery time slot.
  • Once your order has been dispatched to our courier we have little to no control, Your tracking information will show on the email we send confirming your order has been dispatched and on the text from your courier. Follow this for updates on your order.

  • Delivery charge may change due to the exact weight of your purchase on orders being sent outside of Ireland.
  • Prices shown are for delivery to one address.
  • Delays in transit are the sole responsibility of the courier service, unless the delays are caused by the customer (wrong or incomplete delivery address, wrong or missing phone number). Either way, Quinlan’s Fish will not be able to accept responsibility nor give refunds/replacement orders.
  • We cannot guarantee a delivery on exactly the dates requested due to unforeseen circumstances over which we have no influence.
  • It is your responsibility to make sure someone is available to take delivery at the address stated on the order. Please note if no one is the stated delivery address to receive delivery, then a card will be left requesting the recipient to contact their nearest courier office. We urge our customers to contact the courier immediately to ensure prompt delivery of their Smoked Salmon. We cannot accept responsibility for delivery delays due to factors outside our control i.e. weather, airline strikes etc.
  • We are not responsible for any delays in delivery due to local holidays at the destinations. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that the scheduled delivery date does not fall on a holiday, and that the delivery is not delayed by holidays during the delivery period.
  • Regrettably we have to issue a warning about shipping to the USA; we are unable to guarantee an efficient delivery service. The inability of the FDA and US Customs to be consistent in their requirements has created many lengthy delays in importing smoked salmon into the USA. However, we will ship to the USA but strictly at your risk. We will ensure that all documentation is as required by the authorities as we understand it at the time of shipping, but we will not offer any refund whatsoever in case of delays or non-delivery.

Returns, refunds and cancellation policy

  • Due to the fresh nature of our products we do not accept returns or issue refunds after an order has been shipped.
  • Please contact us by phone or email to discuss any issues with your order. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us before the order ships and we will cancel the order without charge.
