Quinlan’s Fish has taken the title of Radio Kerry Business of the Year.
The fish producer and retailer received the award at a Gala Black Tie Ceremony last night in Ballygarry House Hotel, Tralee.
They were also named the overall winner in the Food Category.
The other winners at the inaugural event were Castleisland – Fashion Capital of Kerry in the fashion health and beauty category and Ballygarry House Hotel in the hospitality and tourism group.
ViClarity took the manufacturing and technology award, while The Garvey Group won in the retail category.
Finally, the services award went to Quirke Security.
The event, which was attended by 350 people, was the culmination of a 12 month initiative by Radio Kerry to recognise excellence in Kerry business.
There were 72 monthly winners across six categories representing a diverse range of business interests from across Kerry.
Speaking at the event Radio Kerry Chief Executive Paul Byrne said the Kerry Business Awards were created to recognise the positive endeavours of the Kerry business community to help not just the county but the country to emerge from these challenging economic times.
