Quinlan’s are unique in Ireland as we source all our Fresh Fish and Shellfish from our very own boats and fish factory at Renard Point, Caherciveen. Quinlan’s Seafood Bar, situated in the heart of the busy tourist town of Killarney, Co Kerry, will tempt diners with fresh seasonal fish and seafood in a casually elegant setting. Why not build up an appetite for lunch or dinner with a long walk through the nearby National Park or have a boat trip on the Lakes.
Where does our fish come from?
The fish menu is extensive and is based on what has been landed by our boats in Renard and Caherciveen. Fresh Hake, Cod, Haddock, Whiting and Plaice, from Dingle bay are available throughout the year. Every day a range of specials depending on what is in season and has landed that morning is available. We at Quinlans aim to introduce seafood lovers, to some of our lesser known species and sustainable fish, such as, Gurnard, Ling, Pollack and John Dory. Not only are these fish delicious but also increased usage takes pressure of threatened species such as Cod.
The Lobsters, Scallops, Mussels and Crab are sourced directly from fisherman in Co. Kerry. Kerry with its deep cool waters provides the ideal conditions for growing shellfish and the taste is sublime. Ready to eat Seafood meals alongside a selection of Fresh Fish are also available for customers who want to enjoy the freshest of fish at home.
